Research Directions

1. Conducting fundamental research on ammonia-hydrogen new energy combustion mechanisms and pollutant control strategies, including reaction pathway analysis and process characterization.

2. Developing efficient pollutant treatment technologies for ammonia-hydrogen applications (optimization of SNCR/SCR denitrification materials and control algorithms).

3. Advancing combustion stabilization and low-NOx technologies: plasma-assisted combustion, swirl bluff-body stabilization, staged combustion, porous media combustion, and flameless oxidation.

4. Establishing ultraviolet/infrared spectroscopic diagnostics for intermediate species and combustion products in ammonia-hydrogen flames.

Key Experimental Platforms

Jet-stirred reactors, flow reactors, porous media combustors, swirl burners, McKenna burners, counterflow burners, jet flame burner, industrial kiln flue gas analysis systems, rectangular kilns, shuttle kilns, aluminum melting furnaces, and aluminum rod heating furnaces.
